The spectral tarsier (Tarsius tarsier) is a species of tarsier found in Indonesia. It is apparently less specialized than the Philippine tarsier or Horsfield's tarsier; for example, it lacks adhesive toes. It is the type species for the Tarsius genus. It is found on the island of Selayar and possibly on nearby southwestern Sulawesi, but the latter populations may represent a separate species, Tarsius fuscus.[3]

Weighs about 80-100 grams and has a body length of 16cm and a tail length of 23cm. They can live up to 12 years. Males are bigger than females.
